At night, weak and transient isolated rains are forecast towards the northeast and the central mountain range due to the east/northeast wind, according to a bulletin from the National Meteorological Office (Onamet).

For tomorrow, January 1, “we started the year with a pleasant atmosphere due to the east/northeast wind that will be cooling the night with cool temperatures in large part of the national territory,” the report added.

The Onamet predicted low rainfall during the morning, however, in the afternoon there will be isolated squalls in the northeast, southeast and central mountain regions due to the cloud drag caused by the east/northeast wind.
