Santo Domingo.- The Govt. on Tues. labeled president Danilo Medina’s official visit to China as “fruitful” and which ended with the signing of bilateral agreements in sectors such as trade, education and finance.
The Dominican delegation held a press conference in Shanghai, in which the officials stressed the reach of the agreements, and Medina’s meeting with Chinese leader Xi Jinping, who said that “the point is that the country can take advantage of these possibilities that open up in the market.”
In that regard foreign minister Miguel Vargas said the visit “marks a before and after. It has been very productive and very fruitful.”
Meanwhile presidency administrative minister José Ramón Peralta affirmed that “this relationship of mutual cooperation will bring economic dynamism and the creation of opportunities for our country.”
